Hello Everyone! I am the Executive Headteacher for both Kenn and Kenton Primary Schools. This means that I help both schools with making teaching and learning as great as it can possibly be.
I have taught most of the year groups across the primary school age range. I particularly enjoy teaching reading, writing, art and design technology. I have also specialised in supporting children with additional educational needs. Basically I really enjoy seeing all children love learning and make good progress.
In my spare time I love singing in a choir and doing lots of art and craft activities. I also love being with my family and my cats.
Hello! I am the head of Teaching and Learning and Oak Class teacher. This means that I teach the Year 3s and 4s, as well as spending time helping the whole school with making teaching and learning as great as it can possibly be.
I teach many subjects, and especially love teaching English and Maths. I play the guitar and occasionally have a sing song with the class!
I love playing football and cycling at the weekends.
Hi Everyone, I’m Miss Burrows! I am the EYFS Teacher in Willow Class!
I love teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage because the children can be anything they want to be… explorers, scientists, artists… the list could go on! I really love teaching Phonics and Maths because the children are learning important life skills while having some fun!
In my free time, I like to read, walk my puppy, Daisy, and watch Friends.
I’m Mrs Crossley-May and I teach the oldest children in school (years 5 and 6) in Chestnut class for half of the week. I especially love teaching English including reading, writing and SPAG and I also enjoy Maths. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, reading books and having cuddles with my cat Saph.
Hello, I’m Mrs Slater, one of the Y5/6 teachers. I have taught all year groups but have been teaching Y5/6 for many years now. My favourite subjects to teach are P.E, maths and R.E. I lead R.E. across both Kenn and Kenton schools. I spend my free time scuba diving; swimming in the sea; kayaking; walking my dog and visiting my three, grown up children.
Hello everyone, I teach Willow class on Tuesday afternoon and Cherry class on Friday afternoon.
I work at Teignmouth Community School Mill Lane the rest of the time. This is another primary school that is part of the Osprey Learning Trust. While there I teach Outdoor Learning to all of the children, from Reception up to year 6. I’ve been a class teacher for many years and have taught all ages in the classroom too.
I live in Kenton and both of my children have attended Kenton School – my daughter is still there, in Oak class. I play the guitar and like singing with the children I teach. At the weekend I like to be with my children and if I get any spare time I like surfing, climbing and other outdoor activities.
I love working at Kenton Primary. I support children in Chestnut and Oak Classes in the mornings and then in the afternoons I cover the PPA for Cherry, Oak and Chestnut Classes. I also support the SENDCo Mrs Lorraine Bestwick.
In my spare time, I like to take leisurely walks, visit National Trust properties and enjoy painting and photography.
Hello there, I have been a Teaching Assistant at our school for 20 years and primarily work with the children in KSI. Like Mr Baxter I love to get out and cycle at the weekends and during the school holidays.
Hi, I’m Martin, and I cook the food for the school. I have been a chef since I was 16.
I love sport, particularly cycling and swimming, and I take part in lots of charity events in these sports.
I love football, and follow Arsenal.
