Cherry Class Autumn Update

Kenton Primary School has signed up to reducing our use of single-use plastics.

Cherry Class had a Plastic Pirates workshop with Dea from Resource Futures and Chris from the Environment Agency came to tell us how plastics can affect the oceans and wildlife.  We now know some of the things we can do to help stop the pollution of the oceans and made our own pledges!

As part of our topic ‘Celebrations’, Cherry Class found out more about Diwali and made some lovely diva lamps.

To support us in our plastic free endeavours, parents came in to show Cherry Class make our own, plastic-free Christmas crackers.
