Rainforest Drawings

Linked to our rainforest topic, Oak Class have been doing some amazing artwork.

Every child was given a long strip of paper and asked to draw the four different layers that are found in the rainforest: emergent trees, canopy, under canopy and the shrub/forest floor.

After being coloured in with a water colour background and oil pastels on top, the drawings were always going to look a little bit different. But after being put together on the wall, we can now see our own tropical rainforest which brightens up the classroom.
